This is the kickoff event for the Behavioral Insights Student Group (BISG) for the 2023-2024 academic year!

The Behavioral Insights Student Group (BISG) is excited to announce their kickoff event of the 2023-2024 academic year with Mary MacLennan, Senior Advisor on Behavioral Science at the UN. Mary MacLennan will speak about how behavioral science is being applied across UN entities around the world, on topics such as health, AI, climate, peace and security, and gender. Her presentation will be followed by an open Q&A with the attendees.

Refreshments will be provided. This event is open to any HUID holders.
 
 
Mary MacLennan is a Senior Advisor on Behavioral Science to the United Nations Executive Office of the Secretary-General. She is also the Lead of the UN Behavioral Science Group in the UN Innovation Network. In these roles she expands and supports behavioral science application across the UN.
As a behavioral scientist with over a decade of experience, Mary has worked in the foundational stages of government behavioral science teams and as an expert advisor to the OECD and UN Women, among other organizations. Mary is currently a Fellow at the El-Erian Institute of Behavioral Economics and Policy at the University of Cambridge and a Senior Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics.
