BBC Film announces two initiatives to support budding UK producers and address under-representation in the industry. The Associate Producer Programme will fund the placement of emerging producers from under-represented groups on up to eight BBC Film productions each year. The Small Indie Fund, supporting production companies across genres, opens to UK film companies, with priority to diverse-led as well as those based in the Nations and English regions.
