Over 300 journalists, filmmakers, academics, policy makers, and other practitioners have joined the Shorenstein Center on a short-term basis as visiting fellows or faculty. Fellows traditionally stay for one or two semesters, and engage with students, other Kennedy School and Harvard University researchers, and the Center’s research projects. They often pursue individual research projects (most of which can be found in the Publications section of this site), and/or direct student workshops and other academic pursuits.
The Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy is a Harvard Kennedy School research center dedicated to exploring and illuminating the intersection of press, politics and public policy in theory and practice. The Center strives to bridge the gap between journalists and scholars, and between them and the public.
