March 6, 2013 – “Congo’s Invisible War: An exploration through the work of war correspondent Finbarr O’Reilly.” The event will feature a panel discussion with Finbarr O’Reiley; Dr. Jennifer Leaning, who has worked in the Congo with the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative; and Roger Liwanga, a Congolese lawyer whose work focuses on trafficked children especially in the artisanal mines. There will be a reception and exhibition of O’Reilly’s work in the Carr Center. Co-sponsored by the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. Portions of the exhibition will remain on display in the Carr Center until March 27, 2013.
