
Katie Chen
BISG Co-President
Katie Chen is a second year MPA/ID student and Frank Knox Fellow. Her policy interests lie in the intersection of behavioral change and economic growth in developing countries. Prior to HKS, she worked in behavioral change problems across healthcare, education and children’s rights programs across Sub-Saharan Africa. She has previously worked across both private and non-profit sectors, at McKinsey & Company, Save the Children, and The Behavioral Insights Team. Katie is originally Chinese-Canadian but holds a curiosity for the world, having lived in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and India.

Nadja Born
BISG Co-President
Nadja is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior and a research fellow at the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School. Nadja specializes in leveraging behavioral insights to design and experimentally test interventions that reduce bias and improve decision-making. Her work takes an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating theories and methods from social psychology, data science, and behavioral economics. Beyond academia, Nadja co-founded a behavioral science start-up dedicated to transforming research into actionable digital tools and strategies for leaders and policymakers. She has also worked for the Development Impact Group and the Behavioral Sciences team at the World Bank, applying behavioral insights to tackle global policy challenges.

Max Bock-Aronson
BISG Director, Community
Max, MDes Class of 2025, Graduate School of Design and School Of Engineering And Applied Sciences, is a product designer, engineer, and founder (1 exit) passionate about improving public health through design. His work focuses on supporting individual and communal health, through usable, accessible, and impactful mental health tools and services. His approach to design is informed by behavioral economics, social psychology, and user-centered design theory. Max's work has been featured in the New York Times, Yahoo Finance, and on the cover of TIME Magazine as a Best Invention of 2020. Outside of class and work, Max likes to run on trails, go backpacking with his partner, and play with his pup.

Charlotte Rediker
BISG Director, Communications
Charlotte is a junior at Harvard College concentrating in social studies with a secondary in economics and a mandarin citation. Outside of the BISG leadership team, she is a Staff Editor for the Harvard Crimson’s Editorial and Magazine Boards, and a member of Harvard Financial Analysts Club. Her professional experience, including internships at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on the Reconnecting Asia Team, NWI Management, and Moore Capital have given her a strong multifaceted perspective on international aspects of behavioral finance and political dynamics. Her experiences as a Research Assistant at the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership and as the CTO of the Biden Campaign’s 2020 International Economic Policy Group have honed her understanding of leadership and policy-making in a global context. Charlotte’s interest in behavioral insights is particularly focused on their applications in international relations, leadership decision making, and finance.

Ayushi Gupta
BISG Director, Programming
Ayushi is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration in International Development at Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to attending the Kennedy School, she worked as a development consultant with multilateral organizations, academic institutions, and think tanks, focusing on barriers to women’s economic and political participation in India. She is passionate about studying how social identity affects the allocation of resources and how policy can use behavioral insights to challenge social norms in developing societies.

Logan Berg
BISG Executive, Careers and Professional Development
Logan Berg is a joint research fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership and Women and Public Policy Program. She has worked in academia the last 10 years conducting research in social psychology and judgment and decision making. Her specific research interests include motivational factors in decision making, self regulation and overconfidence. She holds a BA in Psychology from Colby College and an MS in Social Psychology from Texas A&M University.

Prim Budsaratragoon
BISG Co-Chairs in Careers and Professional Development
Prim Budsaratragoon is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, concentrating in Political and Economic Development and Data and Research Methods. Before attending the Kennedy School, Prim worked at the Central Bank of Thailand, focusing on consumer protection and addressing household debt issues. Prim is passionate about local economic development, decentralized governance, and using data-driven policies to improve the provision of financial inclusivity. She is particularly interested in how territorial economic development can improve equitable outcomes in urban and rural areas, both in Thailand and globally. Prim holds a BA in Economics and Public Policy from New York University.

Angeli Sharma
BISG Co-Chairs in Careers and Professional Development
Angeli Sharma is a dual-degree MPP/MBA candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan School of Management. Angeli graduated with a degree in public policy and neuroscience from Duke University in 2020. Afterwards, she worked as a management consultant for the last four years focusing on healthcare and public sector projects. She also worked as the business manager for the Atlanta Committee for Progress, a private-public partnership focused on improving economic development for Atlanta. These experiences led her to pursue her dual master’s degrees to better understand how advances in technology, public sector influence, and private sector expertise can come together to solve the world’s biggest problems.
