Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer HLS ‘64 retired in June after nearly 28 years on the Supreme Court of the United States. Justice Breyer will return to the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum to discuss the state of our judicial system and the rule of law in a conversation moderated by Nancy Gibbs, director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, and Daphna Renan, the Peter B. Munroe and Mary J. Munroe Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. This Forum is cosponsored by the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy and Harvard Law School.

Please register by Wednesday, October 19, if you would like the possibility of attending this event in person. Registrants will be notified by 5:00 PM ET that day if a seat is available for them in the venue.

If a seat is unavailable or you will not be attending in person, registrants can stream the event live via the IOP’s YouTubeTwitter, or Facebook pages. You do not need to register for virtual attendance.

The IOP follows all HKS health and safety protocols, including COVID vaccination, testing, and quarantine guidelines. Masks are no longer required at HKS events, but anyone who wishes to wear a mask should feel free to do so. The Forum is currently closed to people without a Harvard ID, and RSVPs are required for in-person attendance.
