This event is part of the Speaker Series on Misinformation, co-sponsored by the Shorenstein Center for Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School and the NULab at Northeastern University.

This event was the formal launch of the report “Parallel Public Spheres: Influence Operations in the 2022 Philippine Elections,” presented by Jonathan Corpus Ong and JM Lanuza. Former Vice President of the Philippines Leni Robredo presented her expert comments about the report and shared her advocacy to combat disinformation. Dr. Joan Donovan presented a global-level view of media manipulation. Sushma Raman, Executive Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights and Policy, served as chair of the discussion.

Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer HLS ‘64 retired in June after nearly 28 years on the Supreme Court of the United States. Justice Breyer will return to the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum to discuss the state of our judicial system and the rule of law in a conversation moderated by Nancy Gibbs, director of the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, and Daphna Renan, the Peter B. Munroe and Mary J. Munroe Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. This Forum is cosponsored by the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy and Harvard Law School.
