Micho Spring is a senior reputation strategist and crisis counselor, experienced public company Director and Boston business and civic leader. As a communications strategist for 30 years at Weber Shandwick, leader of its Global Corporate practice, most recently Chief Reputation Officer, and currently as a Senior Advisor, Micho has counseled clients across industries on a wide range of reputational issues and crisis matters. She brings extensive experience as a senior manager in both the public and private sectors to her work as a communications strategist, including six years as CEO of Boston Telecommunications Company, and four years as Deputy Mayor of Boston. She also served as Chief of Staff to Boston Mayor Kevin H. White after four years of service in New York City government.  

Micho holds numerous board memberships, including National Bank Holdings Corp (“NBHC”), where she has served as a Director since 2009;  the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research; the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, where she is Past Chair and a member of the Executive Committee; the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New England;  the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the BSO’s Board of Advisors. Born in Havana, Micho is also actively involved in efforts to improve US-Cuba relations and is founding chair of Friends of Caritas Cubana, a non-profit supportinghumanitarian services in Cuba.  Besides the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Board, Micho also chaired the Boards of the United Way of Mass Bay and the Massachusetts Women’s Forum.
