Stefan Wojcik

Stefan Wojcik, PhD is a computational social scientist who studies political behavior and information online. He earned his PhD in political science from the University of Colorado, where he researched legislative networks in Brazil, and did postdoctoral research at Northeastern and Harvard universities. As a Computational Social Scientist at Pew Research Center, he led research on Twitter, including automated accounts and who uses the platform and how. He then served as a Staff Data Scientist at Twitter, where he worked on Birdwatch (now Community Notes). His research has appeared in Nature Communications, Science, and the Journal of Politics.
