Democracy and the New American Economy

The HKS Journal of Hispanic Policy invites you to Democracy and the New American Economy, a conversation about opportunities to expand informed civic engagement in our democratic process as a nation, with Henry Ramos (MPA ’86) and LaTosha Brown (Fall 2019 IOP Fellow). Moderated by Richard Parker and co-sponsored by the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.

It will consist of an intimate conversation with LaTosha Brown, Fall Resident Fellow at the Harvard IOP and Co-Founder of Black Voters Matter Fund and Henry A.J. Ramos (MPA ’86), author of Democracy and the Next American Economy: Where Prosperity Meets JusticeThe talk will be moderated by Richard Parker, Lecturer in Public Policy at HKS and will attempt to surface new modalities and opportunities for expanding informed civic engagement in our democratic processes as a nation, and building towards a new economy that is more fair, inclusive, and sustainable.
