Sanjoy Hazarika

Sanjoy Hazarika is a reporter for the South Asia Bureau of the New York Times. Hazarika was one of the first reporters to cover the Bhopal industrial accident, a gas leak from a pesticide plant that killed more than 4,000 and hospitalized 200,000 more. Formerly a member of the first National Security Advisory Board, Sanjoy Hazarika is now part of the National Commission to Review the Working of the Constitution.
