Dev Pragad

Dev Pragad is the Co-Owner and CEO of Newsweek, where he has spearheaded the historic digital transformation and turnaround of one of the world’s most enduring news publications. Under his leadership, Newsweek transitioned from a struggling print legacy brand into a profitable, digital-first global media enterprise, reaching millions of monthly global readers. A technologist by training, Pragad earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from King’s College London and completed executive education through Harvard Business School’s OPM program. His work in scaling digital media, protecting editorial credibility, and confronting the modern information landscape has been highlighted in numerous business and academic forums, including Harvard Business School case studies. Pragad sits on the Board of Directors of Harvard Business Publishing and the advisory board of the King’s Trust.
