Join us for a discussion with professionals working in the nexus of tech, product, policy, and society. It can be difficult to navigate the career landscape, working on tech for the public interest. Harvard Kennedy School and MIT alumni will share their respective journeys to finding careers in this space, best practices they employed through the job-hunting process, and how they were able to maneuver through private and public sectors to find their ideal role(s).

Jamie Bloom joined Apple as a Business Operations Manager after completing his MBA/MPA from MIT Sloan and HKS in 2020.
Ayush Chakravarty joined Ad Hoc as a Senior Product Manager on the VA Mobile App, after completing an MPP in 2019.
Julia Gutierrez joined the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security and serves as the Senior Engagement Manager of the Massachusetts Digital Service. She completed a Masters in Public Policy at HKS in 2017.
Sahil Joshi joined Google as a Principal Lead of Strategy & Analytics, after completing an MBA / MPA at MIT Sloan and HKS in 2020.
Santiago Melo joined Amazon as a Sr Product Manager Tech, after a join MIT Sloan/HKS program, graduating from MIT Sloan in 2019.
Jessica Nuñez joined Adobe as a Product Marketing Manager, Creative Cloud Education, rotated as a Product Manager on Adobe Rush, and recently joined the Adobe Premiere Pro team as a Product Manager. She completed her MBA/MPA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and HKS in 2019.
Devyn Paros joined the Massachusetts Executive Office of Technology Services and Security as the Director of the Office of Strategy Management after completing completed a Masters in Public Policy at HKS in 2017.
Angelica Quicksey joined Nava PBC (a public benefit corporation) as a Design Manager after completing a dual MPP/MUP at HKS and the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2018.
Kirsten Rulf joined the Federal Chancellery of Germany as Angela Merkel‘s Nerd-in-Chief and Head of Unit for Digital Policy after completing a MPP 2017.
Isabel Schueneman joined Apple as Engineering Program Manager for Privacy after completing her MPA in 2020.
Akina (Aki) Younge joined as the Director of Policy Innovations for Data for Black Lives after completing her MPP in 2019.
